How do I stop the loudest thing in my day from setting my priorities?
Hand AI the things you deal with every day. The texts, the calls, the emails. Have it rank them by what actually matters and draft proper replies to each one.
Why does the loudest thing win?
Because it is in front of you. The text buzzes, the phone rings, the email lands, and whatever arrived last grabs the day. It is rarely the most important thing you have.
What do I hand the AI?
The day's pile. The texts, the calls and the emails you are dealing with. Give it the whole set rather than one item at a time, so it can tell you what comes first.
What do I ask it to do?
Two things. Rank them, and draft a proper reply to each. The ranking tells you where to start. The drafts mean the replies are already written when you get there.
How do I make this stick?
Make it your routine. Running the pile through AI once is a demonstration. Doing it every day is what gets you out of reaction mode.
What this does not mean
It does not mean AI decides your day for you. You read the ranking, and you read the replies before they go out. You own both.
The decision
Take today's pile of texts, calls and emails. Hand it to AI, ask what comes first, and start there instead of starting with whatever is loudest.
