Your competition does not stop at 5 PM, and you cannot watch everything. In this Fargo Walks episode Jeff Fargo points to ChatGPT's new tool, Dot, which keeps working while you are away from your phone and your computer.
What is ChatGPT's Dot?
A new ChatGPT tool you hand tasks to. The clip describes it as something that works for you while you are not at your phone or your computer. In Jeff's words, “It's not perfect, but boy, it's pretty good.”
What can you hand it?
The clip names three jobs. Watch your competition and send you a weekly report. Push you the one email you are waiting for, so you stop checking your inbox all day. Go over your books through QuickBooks or whatever you use, if there is a plug-in for ChatGPT.
How does Jeff run the same setup?
Through Claude, as the chief of staff for his social media. The clip's description lists the work: “the headlines, which platform each clip goes to, when it posts, how it posts, and QA on all of it.”

What this does not mean
It does not mean Dot is flawless. The clip says it plainly: “It is not perfect. It is very good.”
It does not mean the books job works with every tool. The clip ties it to QuickBooks or whatever you use, if there is a plug-in for ChatGPT.
The decision
If you are in ChatGPT, check out Dot. Hand it one job you keep doing by hand: a weekly report on your competition, the one email you are waiting on, or a pass over your books.

It's impossible for you to keep an eye on everything, but ChatGPT recently dropped this thing called Dot. Holy moly. It can keep track of almost everything you got going on. It's not perfect, but boy, it's pretty good. You can give it tasks to do to work for you while you're not at your phone or at your computer, so it can keep an eye on your competition. Give you a weekly report. It can push emails to you from certain people that you're waiting for that email, but you don't have time to be checking your emails all the time or getting alerts all the time for stuff. It can help you with going over all your financial records connected to QuickBooks or your financial platform. If there's a plug in for ChatGPT, I have it connected to Claude, and it's being the chief of staff for all my social media campaigns. The headlines what platforms does it go to? When does it post? How does it post? It runs QA on everything. It's good. Definitely worth your time. If you're in ChatGPT. Check out Dot. I'd love to know what you're using it for. I'm Jeff Fargo, and I can help you streamline and scale with AI. Go forth.
