Have AI audit it. Tell it in detail what you expect the website to do, ask whether it does it, and if not, have it spell out exactly what needs to change. Run the audit again every time a new version of your AI platform comes out.

What do you tell AI before it audits?
Your expectations, in detail. Who the site is for, what it has to make clear, and what you want a visitor to do. The more specific you are, the more specific the audit gets.

A website audit, here, means checking the site against the job you expect it to do, not against a generic checklist.
What do you ask?
Whether the site is doing that job. If not, what needs to be done, in idiosyncratic detail. Then go do it.
When do you run it again?
Every time a new version of the AI platform you use comes out. A newer version may catch what the last one missed.
Do you still need a web developer?
Maybe not. There is a really good chance you can make the changes yourself. If a fix does need a developer, you will know exactly what to ask for.
What this does not mean
It does not mean every item on the audit is right. Treat the list as a starting point and check it against what you know about your customers.
